It can be very frustrating when your babies are no longer babies and are children off to school and suddenly as a homemaker you no longer have children to tend to during the day – but that does not mean that self employed jobs are out of the question for you. In fact many homemakers especially thanks to the aid of the Internet now have greater and easier access to finding jobs that they can fit in around their homemaking.
Here’s an interesting question from someone that wants to be able to work while her kids are at school.
I’m a stay at home mom looking for a job that would be flexible. I would like a REAL job (not a stay at home job) that would allow me to work part time, get off when my kids get out of school and not work summers. Is there any careers that would allow this other than teaching of course. I do not want to teach. I’d be willing to go back to school and study something. Just can’t think of a carrer that would allow this. Even flipping burgers at McDonalds wouldn’t allow you to just take off all summer.
Home Health care, or any temp agency it all depends on your skills….
Other things that could be done include pet sitting, babysitting another parents babies, market research or mystery shopping, any hobbies that could become paid roles…

To let you know a little about me, I have three children of my own all under the ages of 10. Let me tell you trying to get myself ready and all three of them ready in the morning was a job of itself. By the time I got home from work, I had to cook, clean give my two girls a bath, help my son with his home work and still try and find time for my husband and I to spend some time together before he had to go to work. It was CrAzY!!!!!
